Where has management went wrong lately?
I just wanted to start a post for people to comment on the things/events that have occurred lately by management. It doesn't matter how small or big the concern may be. We just want to hear about things in your area that may have been handled wrong. Now due to spammers, there is a delay in the posting of comments on this blog. However, they will be posted within a day or so. So don't fret if your comment doesn't show up instantly on a post here. It will be published. Thanks! Recently we are hearing of someone peeing in their pants because they weren't allowed to go to the restroom. I can't confirm this but others may be able to. If so, this isn't just a management problem, this could lead to litigation. so please tell only of the things you know are true. Thanks again!

Back by popular demand!
Click Image to Enlarge. Here is a second chance opportunity just in case you couldn't make it the first time. Our German counterparts are returning for another visit. We had such a great turn out the first time, several members of the German Union (IG Metall) and the German Works Council are coming back by huge demand. It seems that we may not have done the best job of getting the word out about them being here the first time, so a lot of people have requested a second chance to learn about the advantages/disadvantages of organizing. It is a great opportunity to learn and ask questions about Union organization and the Works Council. Find out why the middle class is thriving in Germany and the middle class is dying in America! Here are the invite cards with the dates of the meetings on them. Everyone come out and take advantage of this great opportunity to learn first hand how we can benefit from organizing. If you can't find a way to make it over for 15 or 20 minutes, then atleast find a representative with the cards and fill one out with your current information so we can keep you informed of the upcoming events. Thanks, looking forward to seeing you there!

National Labor Relations Board!
Here is a link to the National Labor Relations Board to clear up any misunderstanding of what management is forbidden to do. However, this is really not a concern because management has openly said they are neutral, Right?

Kirk Garners visit to Germany
Check out the letter in the link list on the sidebar titled "Kirk Garner meeting with Works Council".
Or click this link:
There have been a lot of people interested in the visit Kirk Garner had in Germany with the Works Council. Here is the printed letter telling about it for those who haven't had the chance to discuss it with him personally. If you see Kirk, tell him thank you. It was a great sacrifice for him to represent us at their annual meetings as he had to use several days of his own vacation time to attend the meetings.
Thank Your Kirk!

Set your phone alarms!
Meeting today - 3:00 -6:30
Everyone carries a phone so lets put them to use. Set the alarm for 3:00p.m. today to remind us of the meeting at Greystone Inn after work. Great meeting yesterday but we can really show a "one team" spirit today by everyone showing up for it. We owe it to our families to give up an extra 15 minutes with them today for benefits that could last a lifetime!

Educational Workshops for Mercedes Employees
"Click to enlarge" There will be opportunities "this week", for Mercedes employees to come out and meet, listen to, and ask questions pertaining to the advantages/disadvantages of organizing. We will have German representatives here, who are members of the German Works Council as well as the German IG Metall Union. There will also be a Professor from the University of Vanderbilt here speaking on the effect of unions and the economy. If you have never worked where the employees/company are in joint agreement with a contract, and you are open minded to old/new ideas, then we invite you out for some free food, and fellowship. If nobody has approached you with the opportunity to sign up, here is the registration cards. Notice at the bottom of the card, there is an email address where you can register also. Remember, this is for open minded adults that would like to explore the possibility of other avenues to, not only "One Team", but "One Happy Team". We understand that team members are under due stress right now with all the hours at work and the stresses that come with it. We understand if you are too tired and too busy to stay for the whole workshop. So please consider coming by for only 15 minutes or so with no obligation except to help us eat some free food. Thanks, and please spread the word.
